I help you prioritize yourself, your needs and revive your hope for the future…
Without feeling like it has to be earned.

You’ve been putting yourself off for too long. Now you’re scared of what might happen if you don’t change something soon.
You have tried to keep going. You have handled what needed to be handled, shown up for the people who needed you, and told yourself you would focus on your own needs when things finally calmed down. But things have not calmed down.
Maybe you have already been told to lower your stress. Maybe your body is giving you warning signs. Maybe you can feel the way you have been carrying your life beginning to affect your health, sleep, focus, work, relationships, and hope for the future.
You may be:Exhausted but unable to fully rest.Struggling to focus because your mind never seems to stop.Putting everyone else’s needs ahead of your own.Rushing through your days and still feeling behind.Scared that if you keep brushing it off, something worse may eventually force you to stop.
You’re ready to make changes now.
Before your body or your circumstances make the decision for you.
You don’t need one more person telling you to lower your stress.
You already know something needs to change.
You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, and saved the social media experts’ posts that you swear you’ll come back to later.A lack of information isn’t the problem.
You need actual help identifying specifically what needs to change and how to put it into practice in a way that works for the life you’re actually living. So you can stop feeling stuck between knowing what to do and not knowing how to make it happen. The goal is to make meaningful changes now, before your health or your circumstances don’t give you the choice you…

God is with us in the wilderness.
HE IS OUR FOUNDATION
“I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:19
We pray. We seek wisdom and discernment.
And we take responsibility for stewarding the lives God has given us well.
We believe salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ.
He is the only way to forgiveness and eternal life, and we believe that a genuine encounter with Him changes everything.
Amen and Amen
The Wilderness
-
The wilderness is a place of training, testing, refining, provision, protection, and the presence of God.
“But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.” -Luke 5:16
That’s what I have learned through my own wilderness seasons, and it’s what I believe Scripture continues to show us again and again.
The wilderness is where God builds our faith, trust, confidence, obedience, and reverence for Him. It’s where our weaknesses are exposed, our strengths are developed, and the purpose He placed inside of us begins to reveal itself.
This is what it means to be made in the wilderness.
You’re being shaped through what you’re walking through.
Some parts of the wilderness are long, grueling, terrifying, and painful. Other parts are extraordinary, freeing, peaceful, and deeply beneficial.
There’s sustenance in the wilderness.
There’s provision.
There’s protection.
And I’ve come to know that there’s a closeness to God like no other in the wilderness.
I’ve come to see the wilderness as the classroom of life, where the Teacher is like no other.
The Way, the Truth, and the Life.
My Lord, my God.. and yours,
Jesus Christ.
It’s the good mixed with the bad.
Weakness mixed with strength.
Pain mixed with purpose.
It’s working the weakness until it becomes a strength. Working the trial until it becomes a testimony.
There is pain in the process, and the process is part of being made.
Being made in the wilderness means allowing God to use the training, the testing, the waiting, the fire, the valleys, the provision, and even the pain to build something in you that could not have been built the same way anywhere else.
I think a lot of us believe that one day we’re going to reach a point in life where the wilderness no longer exists.
That eventually every area of our lives will be on the mountaintop at the same time.
The prayers will be answered. The pain will be over. The valleys will be behind us. Everything will finally feel good, peaceful, settled, and complete.
But I’ve learned that life is usually a blend.
Different areas of our lives can be in completely different places at the same time.
You can be standing on the mountaintop in one area while simultaneously walking through the wilderness in another.
You may be celebrating growth in one part of your life while grieving in another.
You may be receiving provision in one area while continuing to wait in another.
You may feel closer to God than you ever have while still walking through something painful, uncertain, exhausting, or frightening.
I’ve also realized that sometimes we allow our wilderness in one area to keep us from enjoying the mountaintop in another.
Where we become so focused on what still hurts, what’s still missing, what hasn’t changed yet, or what we’re still waiting on that it creates this cyclical feeling of lack.
And it tends to make us feel like life isn’t good enough because every single part of it isn’t in a good place all at once.
Part of being made in the wilderness is learning to accept the blend.
Learning to celebrate the mountaintops while continuing to walk through the pain of the process in the valleys.
Learning that joy and grief can co-exist.
Progress and struggle can co-exist.
Gratitude and disappointment can co-exist.
God can be doing something extraordinary in one area while refining you in the fire in another.
The Wilderness Way is how we learn to walk through that mix.
It’s learning how to recognize what God may be doing in the process instead of allowing every painful season to convince us that nothing will ever get better.
It’s learning how to remain grateful for the mountaintops without ignoring the valleys.
It’s learning how to keep walking when the wilderness feels long.
Because there will be times when your motivation fades.
There will be times when life gets in the way, when the process becomes difficult, and everything inside of you wants to quit and return to what feels safe. The old way.
But sometimes what feels safe is really familiarity.
It’s the pattern you have practiced and have down pat.
It’s what you have always known.
It’s the place where you learned to survive, play small, stay comfortable, or keep yourself from moving forward.
Being made in the wilderness requires us to keep walking beyond what’s familiar.
The Wilderness Way teaches us to prepare with intentionality.
To remember why we began.
To return to the truth when doubt becomes loud.
To keep walking when the process becomes painful.
To obey the Lord when we cannot see the full outcome yet.
To trust that He is building in us what we will need for where He is taking us.
Every single day gives us another opportunity to walk in His ways, learn His truth, and become so familiar with His truth that it becomes part of our identity.
This is how the wilderness changes us.
It develops our faith through practice.
It strengthens our trust through experience.
It builds confidence through evidence of God’s faithfulness.
It teaches us obedience when the next step is difficult.
It reminds us that the pain of the process can still be producing purpose.
Then, when another wilderness season inevitably comes, we know who walks with us.
When the fire comes, we know we’re being refined.
When the testing comes, we trust that we will come out as pure as gold.
When weakness is exposed, we know it can be worked until it becomes a strength.
When the trial comes, we know God can work it until it becomes a testimony.
That’s what it means to be made in the wilderness.
It means the wilderness isn’t something that happened to you.
It’s what God used to build something within you and through you.
That experience becomes wisdom.
The pain becomes part of the process.
The weakness becomes strength.
It’s where your trial becomes your testimony.
And the best part is, who you were when you walked into the wilderness isn’t the same person who walks out.
This is Lifestyles of the Determined.
No trial. No testimony.
Relieve the pressure.
Receive what you need.
A plan, the right support, and help following through.
The ‘Made in the Wilderness Coaching Experience’ is a three-month private coaching experience designed to help you identify what needs to change, create a realistic plan, and begin putting those changes into practice before the way you are living costs you more.
We begin by looking at the full picture:
What’s affecting your stress?
What’s draining your energy?
What keeps getting pushed aside?
What have you already tried?
What habits, thinking patterns, boundaries, decisions, routines, or responsibilities may need to change?
From there, we identify the result you want most and create a personalized plan for moving toward it within the life you’re actually living.
Through private coaching, focused resources, practical action, and support between sessions, you will have help:
Focusing on the changes that matter most.
Applying what you’re learning.
Making decisions with greater clarity and intention.
Working through what gets in the way.
Adjusting the plan when life changes.
Recognizing progress instead of only noticing how far you still have to go.
Building a healthier, more peaceful way of living that you can continue beyond the coaching experience.
I’m not going to tell you that you’ll fix your entire life in three months.
But, I can tell you that you can stop standing still. You can begin doing things differently. And at the end of this program, if you’re fully committed to the changes you want to make, you will leave with greater clarity, direction, and confidence in how to keep moving forward.
A Guided Process. A Personalized You.
Every person comes into this experience with a different life, different responsibilities, different challenges, and a different reason they know something needs to change.
That’s why we’re not forcing your life into a one-size-fits-all formula.
We look at where you are, where you want to go, what has been getting in the way, and how to begin closing that gap in a way that makes sense for the life you are actually living.
Mess and all.
The goal stays the same. How we get there may change. You will have some days or weeks that are challenging. But we’re staying focused on the goal.
There’s no such thing as a perfect plan.
But we will create the best plan for you to keep you consistently moving forward.
Meet Erica
I know what it feels like to be doing everything “right” and still have your body telling you something has to change.
I’ve lived in constant overwhelm and exhaustion. I know what it is like to keep telling yourself you are fine because you are still functioning.
For years, I believed I should be able to just push through no matter what. I had adopted the hustle mentality.
And it worked… until it didn’t.
I was active. I lifted weights. I counted macros. I practiced intermittent fasting. I was doing all the things that had worked for me for years.
From the outside, it looked like I was taking care of myself.
But the fact is, none of that was enough to cancel out the way I was carrying my life.
I was working ridiculous hours, dealing with one family crisis after another, experiencing financial pressure, desperately trying to hold it all together, and continuing to put myself off while I waited for the right time.
You know, when life finally calms down.
But it never did. If anything, it got worse.
Then one day, severe pain in my side landed me in the emergency room. They said it was nothing, and so began months of testing, specialist appointments, and trying to understand what was happening when the medical results kept coming back “normal.”
Then the doctor said the words that shook me to my core:
“It’s stress, and if you don’t get it under control, it could be fatal.”
Thousands of dollars and a doctor’s brutal honesty brought me face-to-face with what I kind of knew deep down, had actively avoided, and couldn’t brush off any longer. Decades of stress were finally catching up to me and affecting my body in ways I never knew were possible. Until I did. The way I was living had to change, and it had to change now. But being told to lower my stress didn’t give me any direction on how to do it. And I think more people need to talk about that. People say “lower your stress” like it’s as simple as flipping a switch. Like your life hears, “Oh, she’s gotta lower her stress,” and decides to ease up a little. You can know you need to change and still have no idea where to start, what matters most, or how to make it work within the life you’re already drowning in trying to manage. I wish I had someone who understood the full picture when I was in the thick of it. It took me years of hard work, lessons, application, failure, consistency, tears, breakdowns, and breakthroughs to learn what I know now about stress, boundaries, emotional regulation, sleep, personal growth, decision-making, faith, and how to create sustainable change. I’ve learned that knowing what to do and being able to apply what you know to your actual life are completely different things.
That experience became my rock bottom, my threshold, and eventually part of my calling and how I help others today.
As a Certified Life Coach and Master NLP Practitioner, I now help and support people as they identify what needs to change, create a realistic plan, and begin doing things differently.
I learned a lot of this the hard way.
But you don’t have to!
My goal is to help you move toward your goals while avoiding some of the unnecessary pain, frustration, and mistakes that kept me stuck for years.
What’s Included
THE MADE IN THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE
Three months of private, personalized coaching and support
This experience combines private coaching, self-paced teaching, practical exercises, and support between sessions so you are not only learning what to do, but applying it as you go.
You’ll have the time, guidance, and support to understand what’s happening, decide what matters most, create a realistic plan, put it into practice, and begin making changes that flow through your relationships, the way you live, love, work, your beliefs, and your faith. You deserve that.
Your experience includes:
-
We begin by looking at the full picture of your life, identifying what is affecting what, and determining what may need your attention first.
Together, we clarify the primary result you want from the experience and begin building your personalized Action Plan.
So you can stop treating everything like a separate emergency and to be able to focus on what you’re actually working toward.
-
You will meet with me weekly for the first two weeks and then every other week for the remainder of the experience.
Each session stays connected to your primary goal while giving us room to work through the real-life decisions, obstacles, patterns, and changes showing up along the way.
So you have time to apply the work, live your life, notice what happens, and return with something useful to work through.
-
We create a realistic plan based on your goal, needs, responsibilities, capacity, and current season.
The plan is not set in stone. We review what is working, address what is getting in the way, and adjust the route when life changes.
So you can continue moving forward without believing one difficult week means you failed.
-
You will receive focused resources and exercises chosen to support the work we are doing together.
You will not be buried beneath a giant digital library or handed another overwhelming course to finish.
So you can focus on applying what matters most to your actual life
-
You will have access to text support between sessions to ask questions, share progress, receive encouragement, and work through relevant obstacles as they come up.
So you don’t have to hold onto every question until the next session or carry the entire process alone.
-
At the end of the three months, we review where you began, what changed, what you learned, and what still needs your attention.
You will leave with a clear plan for how to continue applying the work beyond the coaching experience.
So the end of the program doesn’t become another beginning of the same start-and-stop cycle.
Your Questions, Answered
-
The Made in the Wilderness Coaching Experience is a three-month coaching experience designed to help you challenge old beliefs and identities that may be holding you back, prioritize your needs the way you have prioritized everyone else’s, and discover and apply tools and resources that revive your hope for the bright future you deserve.
-
The wilderness represents the difficult seasons that stretch us, reveal what needs to change, and shape who we become.
It is often where God prepares us, strengthens us, refines us, and shows us what He has been building in us all along.
You are not only someone who went through the wilderness. You can be made through it.
-
The Made in the Wilderness Coaching Experience is for men and women who believe in Jesus, know something needs to change, and are ready for support putting that change into practice.
You may feel overwhelmed, tired of repeating the same patterns, unsure what needs your attention first, or frustrated because you have learned a lot but still struggle to apply it consistently in your everyday life.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You do need to be willing to be honest, participate fully, apply what you are learning, and take responsibility for the changes you want to make.
-
Every person will enter this experience with a different goal, different needs, and a different starting point.
Through the work, you may experience greater clarity, stronger boundaries, healthier routines, more confidence in your decisions, improved follow-through, a deeper awareness of what has been keeping you stuck, and practical tools you can continue applying after the program ends.
You may begin noticing that you respond differently, recover from setbacks faster, communicate more clearly, ask for help sooner, or stop abandoning the plan every time life becomes difficult.
The work is personalized, but your results will depend on your willingness to participate honestly, apply what you learn, and remain committed to the changes you want to make.
-
Yes. While Made in the Wilderness is centered around one primary goal or direction, we still look at the bigger picture of your life because the areas of your life often affect one another.
Your relationships, routines, health, mindset, responsibilities, boundaries, and environment may all influence the change you are trying to make. We will keep your primary focus clear while also addressing the patterns, obstacles, or life areas that are directly connected to it.
The goal is not to ignore everything else. It is to keep you from trying to change everything at once.
-
Since 'Made in the Wilderness is a hybrid coaching experience, the work continues between our sessions. You’ll have time to apply what we discussed, complete focused exercises or self-paced teaching, notice what comes up, and practice doing things differently in your everyday life.
You’ll also have access to support between sessions for relevant questions, progress, encouragement, and obstacles that come up along the way.
The time between sessions is not empty space. It’s where what you’re learning begins becoming part of the way you live.
-
Working with me is different because I bring together lived experience, years of personal healing work, coaching and NLP training, personal development, ongoing self-improvement, strong pattern recognition, and a reverence for the Lord. I don’t just help you set goals or change habits. I help you see what you may not have been able to see on your own: the patterns, connections, and root issues underneath what keeps repeating, and then turn what you’re learning into practical changes you can actually live out.
-

Hybrid coaching combines private coaching sessions with practical work and support between sessions. In Made in the Wilderness, that means we use our live sessions to identify what needs attention, work through what is getting in the way, and decide what comes next. Between sessions, you apply what we discussed through focused exercises, self-paced teaching when relevant, real-life practice, and ongoing support.
The goal is not just to understand what needs to change during a coaching call. It is to have the time, structure, and support to begin living those changes between calls.
-
Yes. God is our foundation, and this experience is for people who believe in Jesus.
Prayer, Scripture, wisdom, discernment, and faith may be part of the coaching process. This is not about performing your faith perfectly. It is about being willing to invite God into the work, seek His direction, and apply what you are learning with Him at the center.
-
Therapy may help you process trauma, address mental health concerns, understand patterns and experiences from your past, or receive clinical treatment from a licensed professional.
Coaching focuses on where you are now, where you want to go, what may be getting in the way, and how to begin making and applying practical changes in your everyday life.
This experience is not therapy, medical treatment, or crisis support, and it does not replace care from a licensed professional when that support is needed.
-
This may be right for you if you are ready to stop putting yourself off, receive support, and begin making intentional changes instead of waiting for life or your circumstances to force them.
You do not have to feel completely confident or unafraid.
You do need to recognize that continuing the same way is no longer working and be willing to take the next step.
-
Life happens. If you fall behind on an exercise, need extra time to apply something, or something unexpected comes up, we can adjust within the structure of the experience and focus on what is most important for you to keep moving forward.
If you need to miss a coaching session, it can be rescheduled according to the cancellation and rescheduling policy provided before enrollment. Because the experience has a defined 12-week timeframe, rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and need to take place within that timeframe.
Sessions missed without proper notice may be forfeited.
-
Additional coaching sessions may be available for an added fee, depending on availability and whether the support needed is within the scope of coaching.
If something comes up that requires therapy, medical care, crisis support, or another licensed professional, we will be honest about that too.
-
Yes!
This experience is open to both men and women who believe in Jesus.
Although some of the language on this page may speak more directly to women, the coaching itself is personalized to the individual. If the message resonates with you and you are ready to participate honestly, apply what you learn, and take responsibility for the changes you want to make, you are welcome here.
